Henry Ford
Henry Ford was born on July 30, 1863 in Greenfield Township, Michigan to the William and Mary Litogot Ford. He spent his childhood on a farm that his father owned (Henry Ford). Little did Ford know that he was going to become one of the biggest industrialists in the United States of America.
Henry lived on his father’s farm for about 16 years and during that time he learned how to do many things. One thing he learned how to do was tinker with stuff. He would be happy to mess with anything. He also learned how to work the fields and all the other farm stuff. His mother taught him many things like how to be a self-reliable man. She sadly died when young Henry was just twelve (Rosenburg).

Because of this he started to treat his employees like machines. He designed his factories to help humans be more efficient. He demanded all his workers to work as he designed the factories. He even raised the hourly wage to five dollars to get more employees (Henry Ford).
Later, in life his son, Edsel Ford, died at the age of 49 due to serious stomach cancer because of a drinking and smoking problem (The Life of Henry Ford- Timeline). Ford became re-elected as president of Ford Motor Car Company because the previous president Edsel Ford had died. Ford is also criticized for totalitarian business practices and anti-Semitism. Anti-Semitism is the practice of not liking Jewish people but for some reason a lot of his friends were Jews (Henry Ford).
Ford, also had enough people support him during this time to run for president in 1922. Many people took their support away after finding out that Henry was a big inspiration for Adolf Hitler. People found this out when somebody found a picture of Henry framed above his desk on the wall (Henry Ford). On Fords 75th birthday there was a bunch of actors that reenacted scenes from his life as a birthday present. On a day in 1945 Ford suffered a stroke.
