Yeah, just remember that you should choose something that feels "right" if you know what I mean. If you like it and you won't end up questioning what you're doing, then you will be more confident when it comes to putting yourself out there and working hard in school won't be as bad. If you don't like presentations and making connections with others you might not like business so much in the first bit. I think you can't really predict what will or won't happen in the future anyways, you might or might not have a good influx of clients that could all change depending on the market. You might or might not get into medicine. In the end if it's something you want you will try to get at least somewhere and it won't be as bad if you actually enjoy it.

I think you can get your marks up to high 80s in grade 12. I know people who slacked off in grade 11 and once they got to grade 12, did their homework twice and read everything before the lessons in class.

But you will have to review your grade 11 classes over the summer because your foundations will be poor. If you need to go to the library to focus, then do what it takes. Those videos that you spend time watching, do you even remember what you watch 3 days later? Don't waste your time in school by not getting anything out of it.

Also, don't assume that any program in university will be easy. There will be competition when you get in and the workload is a lot to keep up with no matter what. Study what you actually like or you will question if it's worth it when it gets tough. As a previous person commented, finance has a lot of math.

Also, if there is something else you like that is not in business or science you could look into it too. There's jobs for people who are willing to put 100% into what they want to go into. I know a guy who is really smart and he's studying some obscure liberal art at U of T and he very likely will get somewhere because he is an ambitious person. If you put as much work into a non business or medical program as you would trying to get into medicine, it would be hard to imagine you wouldn't be successful. Professors have lots of good opportunities for students that try.

I really can't decide...I've always had a liking for Science and tended to do good in it (excluding grade 11), but yeah then there is business...I like it because I've been around my Uncle (real estate agent) and his business and I like the feeling of being you own boss and having clients..then there is the fact that income/clients may not be stable. As a physician/medical profession, I'll have to work my butt off to get there but when I do i'll be able to look back and see what I've accomplished. I'm more of the introvert/shy type so I tend to stick around studying (which i clearly haven't done in Grade 11)... so yeah it will make it hard for me to make connections/links in business.

As an example, I have a friend who was in a different program because it was what she
