Our history day topic is Horace Mann. So we were thinking about people to choose and thought Horace Mann would be good because he was taking a stand against private expensive schools. Our topic is important because without Horace Mann we wouldn't have compulsory education.

So the topics that helped us find the most information were ABC Clio and world book. They were important because they helped us find out what he did and why he did it. They also helped us find out things about his past like where he went to school and where he was born. Mrs. Holly was our librarian and she helped us find some sites.

So problems we encountered at first were recording. It was hard to find an area where it wasn't loud and it was hard to say everything correctly.
