Hobbes Ideal Government

Last week, I was taught two very different views on government. The first philosopher, Thomas Hobbes, thought that people were naturally born evil and that people need a government to provide stability and peace. The leader in his ideal government should have all power so that that people do not become uncontrollable. The second philosopher, John Locke, thought that people were born with a clean slate and he also thought that the government provides stability and peace. His ideal government was the government giving the people rights and the people having all their freedom. I kind of agree with Locke and I totally disagree with Hobbes. The people under my government would have all their rights and have all their freedom. In my government, the president would not exist. There would be only the three branches of government and no real leader. The people would control themselves and the government would just make sure they do not do anything dramatic. There would not be arguments among politicians and they will think alike. They would think that they are just tools that are being used to improve how people live and how many jobs we have. In my government, there would not be any violence, abortions, and people not having jobs. The people under my government will be taught that it’s ok to love who you love and not that it’s a sin. MOST IMPORTANTLY, the people in my government can’t judge one another because we all come from one. I want this type of government because I want everyone to have the rights that they are born with. We would implement this government by kindness and care. We would show the people that it’s ok to be happy. We would also show them that they need to love everyone no matter how they look or what they have
