George Washington was an important leader of the american revolution. He helped lead the colonists to victory in the battle of freedom.While he stayed in our leader even after the war. He was quite enraged when he was taxed like all the other colonists. The most important battle of his life was when he crossed the Delaware river. He was a 6 class person. Also he signed the declaration person. He was a very important person in the american revolution.

Although,The Boston massacre was a huge thing that got George Washington to lead the colonists, it led the outbreak of the revolution. It started on March 5, 1770. This information was gathered on www.bostonmassacre.net/. A group of colonists formed around where one guard stood guard of a building. One of the colonists hit the guard in the face. Then all the other colonists joined in on the violent protests. The guard called in for immediate back up. General Cornwallis led a small battalion to straighten out the colonists. The British fired on the group of colonists. The battalion fired when there was no command. This is proved on the website. General Cornwallis gave no command. This made George Washington even more mad. Him and Samuel Adams were the first to hear about this.
