Harriet Tubman is interesting to read about because she was the leader of the Underground Railroad and helped 300 slaves escape. Harriet risked her life helping slaves and she is confident to bring them to freedom. She never lost a slave and never got caught with a slave.

Harriet was the first child born. She was born 1820 on March 10,1913 in Maryland. Harriet was born a plantation and with disadvantages. She has A niece Kessiah,Sister,ex husband John Tubman,mom Rit Green,dad Ben Ross,husband Nelson Davis,and two brothers Harry,Ben,and little girl Gertie. Harriet got whipped if she is not working or not working hard. She doesn’t get cake and doesn’t know when her birthday party is. She does not know how to read or write because if she did, she will get her toes and fingers chopped off. Harriet does not know if she has a birthday.
