The catholic church has had a positive impact on Australia's society, not only in the past but the present and hopefully in the future. In the past a variety of people could not understand the readings of the catholic church as the language was not translated from latin to english, although in the year 1962 it was finally translated. With this resource available to society, people were able to practise this religion and apply their new knowledge to situations that needed love and compassion that was often described in the bible.
