For starters, veterinarians help animals in the world. They are the ones who help animals that are hurt or injured. Veterinarians care for homeless animals and give homes to them. Veterinarians are doctors who make a change in a dog’s life. This is going to be about how veterinarians help animals,what do I have to do to get this job and what are the advantages and disadvantages in this job. To begin with, Veterinarians have to help animals when they are sick. For example, Wayne Allard was a U.S senator but he saw that many animals were sick and homeless he decided to become a veterinarian. He took most of his time practicing and took classes on being a veterinarian. Some veterinarian doctors have different tasks like farm animals, sea animals, and zoo animals (Rosenberg, 2012). Veterinarians also give medicine to the ones that are sick or if them can't eat right and take special pills. They use special equipment like an x-ray to check if any of the dogs bones are broken or has a fracture in any part of the body. …show more content…
I have to get a degree in college for science and get a bachelor degree. You also have to go to the veterinarian school to get practice because if you don't you might make a mistake and you do not want that to happen. Also you have to get a DVM, or a doctor of veterinarian medicine. They make about $84,460 per year and $40.61 per hour.
