This meant that I had to re-read the books and articles that we have covered in class. I normally like to write a paper in just one sitting but this time it was different. I found myself frustrated and exhausted by all the discrimination I had faced and injustices I have seen happen to other people. Re-reading some of those books took me back to the first few weeks in class when I was constantly exhausted at how the American society treats black people. Furthermore, I am currently taking a course in immigration theology and Ethics. In this class, I am learning about the issues and injustice that immigrants face, which are numerous. No human beings should be treated the way immigrants are treated. To make matters worse, with the new ban against refugees that has been implemented by President Donald Trump, I find myself even more disappointed at this country. I believe that black Americans should advocate for immigration policy because at least, they know how it feels to live in an oppressed society. My mind is exhausted and I can’t wait to graduate, as this gets me closer to my purpose which is to help
