Huck goes to the Phelps plantation, and is greeted by a woman named Aunt Sally, Tom Sawyer's aunt. Aunt Sally thinks it is Tom Sawyer she is speaking to, so Huck goes along with the idea. Huck knows Tom so well that he was able to make up stories, and act like Tom. Huck then makes an excuse, and says he is going to town to collect his luggage. On the way, Huck bumps into Tom. Tom could not believe his eyes, and he thinks Huck is a ghost. Huck is able to convince Tom otherwise, and also convinces him to help him get Jim. They both head back to the Phelps plantation, and Tom Sawyer, the real one, convinces Aunt Sally that he is Sid Sawyer. When Tom and Huck see Jim he is all chained up in a hut behind the house. Huck's plan is to get Jim unchained
