If I had a hypothetical ticket, I would not waste it on something trivial like going to the beach, or even around the world for that matter. Instead, I would use this magical ticket to travel outside of our "world", I would use it to travel to a little-known planet called planet X. It is what's known as a "Goldilocks planet", which are planets that possess the rare ability to host life. With this ticket, round-trip or not, I can travel to one of these planets and conduct the ultimate experiment for the sake of humanity. I could seed the planet with several different types of organisms, each in their own unique enclosures allowing them to grow individually. This experiment could bring much-needed knowledge of exactly how our planet's ecosystems …show more content…
I would also like to use some plants and animals that are already adapted to their environment on earth to see whether not interplanetary organisms are just science fiction or if they could be the future of science. This information could bring vital insight into whether or not we could use the planet as a new "home" for humans or even function as a gigantic plantation if we seed it with corn or some other natural resource. This ticket could provide me with the opportunity to conduct the most important scientific experiments of mankind's relatively short existence. By providing the base for a functional ecosystem, we could witness natural selection weed out the weakest organisms and watch as the strongest organisms slowly evolve until they become perfectly suited for the environment. We could finally answer the age-old question of exactly how life began. Although the experiment could take more than my lifetime to complete, the experiment could be continued and monitored remotely from earth by using strategic cameras and communication
