Have you ever heard of an ibis bird? An ibis bird is a group of wading birds found in warm places all around the world. They eat various small animals like crayfish, fish, frogs, and insects. The most common kind of ibis has purplish and brownish feathers.
They usually live in warm regions and by water. Ibis’s prefer to live near marshes and pools near the coast. They make their nests out of sticks and other nature matter. The females lay three or four eggs that hatch in three or four weeks. Both parents care for the eggs and the young.They have a long neck, long legs, and a long, thin bill that curves downward. More than 20 different kinds of Ibis birds are living today. Ibises height range is 18 to 42 inches.
