Late nights, overwhelming crowds, and customized sport vehicles are just some of the aspects that define illegal car racing. Forbidden car racing has caught the attention of many, predominantly local authorities because of its illegal convocation of speeding enthusiasts, dashing recklessly down the roads. People behind a wheel enjoy the rush of velocity, however many disagree with this activity. The definition of car racing has had many interpretations since it was first introduced in the 1930’s. Many people question if this is a crime or a passion? One of the most legit definitions snatched out of a dictionary would be, “The form of unsanctioned and illegal auto racing which takes place on public roads.” This is an acceptable explanation established by law, which people might agree this is a crime that might …show more content…
However, as times have changed people have begun to think outside the box. The creation of legal raceways, particularly intended for car competitions is now present to prevent further damage among them. One of the major improvements of the new definition defining illegal car racing would be the decline in crime. Patrolman can now take part of the weight off their shoulders in trying to restrain opposition of order and law out on the streets. While there has been new constructions of raceways, there has also been a diminish of vicious car tactics. Approximately, 30% of the cases of exhibition of speed have declined due to the existence of legal car raceways, as shown in Mission Raceway. This types of illicit tactics make sure to secretly meet in a specific place to perform car races, leaving behind damage on the roads, directly to drivers or even spectators, and traffic collisions.
