2. The two most important impacts on the Natives of the Northwest Coast during the 20th century are the Indian Citizenship Act and WWII. The Indian Citizenship Act was an act that took place in 1924 but the act was put in place “Indians occupied an unusual status under federal law. Some had acquired citizenship by marrying white men.
