Environmental Factors and Health of Infants
Infants and children are more vulnerable to environmental hazards. Infants are still growing inside and their organs are not developed yet and can be severely damaged by chemicals and other dangers (Children's health and the environment, n.d.). There are numerous environmental hazards to infants. The author of this report has selected secondhand smoke as one of the environmental health hazard to infants, to develop a pamphlet to share it with a parent of an infant. This report summarizes teaching and learning interaction on the health risks associated with secondhand smoke.
