The innocence project showed us that there was a 34 out of 329 who were were caught as minors. Also there was a 75 percent who were of color that were minors got arrested for false accusation by others. The innocence project tells use how some people are innocent but they are given false information and the other person gets in trouble for it. In the article it states how “Joshua Tepfer’s 2010 study found that 33% of all youth DNA and non-DNA exonerees younger than 20 were implicated by a “false incentivized statement.” This goes to show how some people are wrongly convicted of a crime they did not commit.
