The Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard have joined forces to create an integrated maritime strategy. This strategy presents the interests our nation has by promoting a diplomatic global system consisted of interdependent networks. Each system presented (trade, finance, information, law, people, and governance) introduces the oceans as part of the maritime domain that supports over half of the world’s trade. On the other hand, our challenge is to apply sea power, so that the U.S. interests are protected through security, stability, and peace. The concept of maritime repeats the usage of sea power that manipulates the actions and activities at sea and ashore. No matter the threat, the maritime forces will respond to provide the highest level of security. In another subcategory, the maritime security will have to develop a relationship with other nations to contribute security and stability. By contributing security and stability, Maritime forces will need to prevent or at least contain disruptions that may impact the global system. Maritime forces must have a forward presence when it comes to a diverse number of threats towards the homeland. In addition, forces have to be forward during operation in becoming familiar with the environment, as well as other factors. Having a forward presence can do a number of damage in combating terrorism that is distant from the shores.
