Memories come and go, fading away as the years go by and new ones are created. At some point in everyone lives a high point is hit and no one ever wants it to end. In “Ex- Basketball Player” by John Updike, the main character is all caught up in his past of being a popular basketball player back in high school. Though the times must have been fun it is important that everyone moves on in life otherwise they will never achieve anything. It is true that sports are fun and sometimes those who are good make it big and become famous. I agree that people need to stop obsessing over their joys when they are young because to make in the world that has to work. Sports does not always make it for everyone so they have to be able to move on. In addition,
