John Wayne Gacy, a man loved by many, his wife, his friends and his coworkers, but there was a side of him that was hidden from society, a side that only a few unlucky ones got to a see.
John Wayne Gacy was born on March 17, 1942 in Chicago, Illinois. As a child Gacy got along well with his mother and sisters but had a difficult relationship with his father. His father would often beat, belittle, and call him names. some may say this is what triggered his violent future. Gacy had many jobs, one including assistant precinct captain for a democratic party, Gacy’s father heavily criticized him for this decision, Gacy believed he was just trying to get the acceptance from others that he never received from his father. After that he worked as a mortuary attendant. During this time Gacy slept in a cot behind the embalming room. At one-point Gacy crawled into the coffin of a deceased teen male and fondled him, Gacy felt a great sense of excitement from this but would not experience it again for another few years.

It was during this time when Gacy experienced his second homosexual experience when he sexually assaulted a teenage teen named Donald Voorhees by getting him drunk and persuading him to perform oral sex upon him. Throughout the course of a few months many teens were abused in a similar manner. Gacy had tricked them into believing it was a scientific experiment. All was going good until his first victim, Donald confessed to his parents and police and was charged with oral sodomy, Gacy denied the charges and requested a polygraph test. The test showed that he was nervous when he denied any wrongdoing with Donald. Eventually Gacy pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 10 years, he got out on parole after only 18 months of his
