Killing animals that we do not own is not right. Also, breaking a promise is something we shouldn't do. In Homer’s Odyssey Eurylochus should not have killed Helios's cattle because they was not starving, promised they would not, and they knew there would be consequences. Eurylochus should not have killed Helios's cattle because they weren't hungry enough to do that. Eurylochus and his men had just eaten and there was no intention of killing the cattle for food. If they would have killed the cattle for food, it would have been a huge waste of time. Killing the cattle wasn't a necessity for their hunger.
