“The Case Against College” is an essay describing why college is not necessary for many people. The author of this essay, Linda Lee, sent her son to college then pulled him out after not even a full year. She figured college wasn't for him and if after two years of working in the workforce he decided he wanted to go back, Lee would help support him again. After the two years had gone by, he had found a job that paid well and decided he did not want to go back to college. Proving her point that not everybody needs a college degree to do get a good job. Many times through Lee’s essay she talks about the percentage of people who don't make it through college and accumulate well paying jobs any ways. My dad would be a great example of that. He
