There are over 100 types of cancer. The most common among females is breast cancer, the second is lung cancer, and the third is colorectal cancer. Breast cancer is a malignant tumor that happens in the cells of the breast. Malignant tumors are a group of cancer cells that can grow and invade tissues (or spread) to close areas on the body. The disease is usually found in women, but doctors can sometimes find breast cancer in men as well. Treatment for breast cancer depends on the stage of cancer you have. Some treatments may consist of chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery. Lung cancer is an uncontrollable growth of cells in one or even both lungs. To cure lung cancer people often go through surgery, but also might have to do chemotherapy, radiation, or a combination of these. Colorectal cancer is a malignant tumor arising from the inner wall of the colon. To cure colorectal cancer, it mostly depends on how big the tumor has gotten and how far it has spread.
