Where is the fine line that separates a man from being a monster? The famous play that Shakespeare scribes which everyone knows of is Macbeth. Macbeth is one of his most famous and thought provoking plays that is exceedingly tenable. This play is about a monster who shows no clemency and has no reason for existence other than causing misery. Macbeth is a monster rather than a man who just needs a little push to blossom into the monster he is and this is shown by how he is evil the core, tries to be king even though already had the position, and his position is all that’s keep him from embracing it. “Send out more horses. Skirr the country round. Hang those that talk of fear”(V.iii.37-39). He would not have been able to give such an order if he wasn’t king. Once he becomes king he commits more atrocities than he ever did while he wasn’t king. Some people could say that it is his duty to be king and with the amount of power he has he must also make harsh decisions for the betterment of the country. He kills the innocent family of Macduff who commits no offense towards him other than harbor the offender. The amount of evil a person has determines whether he is a monster or not.
There are some people in this world that just want to see it burn. Their mere existence is present so that they may stir the peace and cause mayhem; Macbeth is one of those people. Although many may say that he is a man only an astute person will agree that he is a monster. Macbeth is no a man who turns evil, but one born with it which is shown by how he is corrupt to his essence, greedy, and abuses power. A monster is not something to be made, but a bud waiting to bloom when its season
