America’s Change
It all started in the 1800’s and 1900’s when change started happening for all Americans, and it came as a surprise as they watched it all unfold. Agriculture wasn’t considered an option for most people as the rise of Industrialization made its mark on America, started by Andrew Carnegie in 1875, he created steel which would help change the way people could get across rivers. Equalities have changed the way men and women think of each other, considering men didn’t think highly of women back in the 1900’s. Immigration has had a major change from back in the 1800’s and early 1900’s when Immigrants were accepted for who they were, until today as they are criticized, and looked down upon for being “different” other than being American. Lastly, what we consider the American Dream, a Dream that has taken a drastic turn as what the people thought was the greatest gift you could receive, is now overlooked as something we just have, rather than something we have earned. Some say America hasn’t received any change, but in my opinion America has changed, and it has changed profoundly.

From Agriculture to the creation of Industrialization, from Men and Women’s equalities of modern day age where they were treated different until now where they have a say in some areas, even to Immigration when they were accepted into the America from the rough hardships of their old countries, until now where they are looked down upon, and criticized for being different races, and “different” overall people. America has had multiple changes throughout history, and in the passage “What Past Generations Can Teach Us about Our Future” there is a period of time from 1883-now that there are changes in how people lived and how they were treated in each time period. Every day is a day where we see changes, and that is why I think America has
