Malcom Gladwell and Judith Ortix Cofer both had an issue they wanted to discuss that had similar bases. Mr.Gladwells was based on socail media changiung the war=y pewople viee certain situations and Mr.Cofers was the way Hispanc wpmen are seen in the eyes of others. The media has had a great impact on both of the writeers. Without saying so Ms.Cogfer shares her opinions on how hispanic woemn are seem using adjectives like “hot tamale” or “mature”, which is how theyre often seen in the media. Mr.Gladwell doesnt believe the media should be used to share certain events like protests because they have no definite leader.

Her stylke was similar to Gladwells in some aspects. For exampolke when she was beginnign a new paragraph she would use and anecdote tpo draw the reader in by givcing them an idea pf what she was about to write/expalin.
