Like Martin Luther King Jr., Malcom Little, or Malcom X, also had a very normal childhood. He was born on May nineteenth, 1925 in Omaha, Nebraska. He also had a two parent childhood, with his mother being a housewife, occupied with Malcom’s seven other siblings, and his father was also a reverend. Malcom’s father played a prominent role in Malcom wanting to join the Civil Right’s movement of the 1960’s because his father was an outspoken supporter of Marcus Garvey who believed that African American people should be proud of the fact that they are African and that their heritage is a beautiful thing.
