The Egyptians had many gods, some based on aspects of the Nile. Ra the sun god helps their crops grow, According to Document E, Ra the sun god had created the fields and crops of Egypt, it says “who floods the fields that Ra (the sun god) has created” showing that the Egyptians base their gods off of aspects of the Nile and things you find in everyday life. Furthermore, the Egyptians believed in an afterlife.
