NONPF Core Competencies
As a Nurse Practitioner there are many competencies that one must understand to be successful. Core competencies are set in place to establish success to current and future practices. The three Nurse Practitioner Core Competencies I choose, and felt was most important are Scientific Foundation Competencies, Quality Competencies, and Leadership Competencies. There are many indicators for each competencies, I will discuss one for each.
Scientific Foundation Competencies indicate to allow research and knowledge to improve practice and outcomes. The course that supports scientific foundation competency in this program is Utilization of Evidence Based Practice. The Student of nursing outcome (SON) expect academic success
