Yes, I do believe that in the political and economic society is a democracy you first have to think of the act was a different era civilizations was still happening sure things they did or believed might be unusual for us but if you look all the things they did they using medicine to cure each other. Nacirema culture is characterized by a highly developed Market economy which has evolved in a rich natural habitat. While much of the people’s time is devoted to economic pursuits, a large part of the fruits of these labors and a considerable portion of the day are spent in ritual activity. The focus of this activity is the human body. They have magic charm/potion boxes in a shrine room where all the body purifying rituals take place. Because the body is considered impure, men and women adhere to even more developed forms of cleansing rituals. Men, scrape and lacerate their faces almost daily and women bake their heads a few times a month. They also have a healing temple to where the sick go. Some are not allowed to enter and receive treatment because they do not have enough money.
