In my freshman year of high school, I shied away from advanced classes, and I wasn't living up to my potential. That changed starting my sophomore year thanks to AVID. I took more advanced classes and I signed up for dual enrollment courses. That's also when I received the ugliest grade on my high school transcript. I've been shy my whole life, and taking a dual enrollment course on campus is no exception to that. I was absolutely terrified of going on campus, so I decided to take Composition 1 online.
