Patty sat in class trying hard to not fall asleep during the battle lecture. "I already know all of this," he thought to himself. Patty wondered why they were still learning about how to use a gun when they should be learning battle techniques. He couldn't wait for the placement tests so that he could finally be put with the older kids who were as good as him. Finally when the bell rang everyone Grabbed their backpacks and headed towards the lunch room. "How the heck does they expect us to be ready to go off to war in a year if we don't know how to shoot a gun," Patty said to his friend Conall.
"they don't expect us to survive, they expect us to maybe get a kill or two each before we die and then have the people behind us do the same," said Conall. Patty nodded and sat down to eat lunch.
