I have extensive experience of presenting, reporting to and engaging with a large range of stakeholders, including an executive audience. I am often called upon to share my specialist knowledge within a team environment and have built networks with jurisdictions across Australia to enhance the Healthier Work Service. My approachability and high level of interpersonal skills results in high performing teams exceeding stakeholders expectations.
In my volunteer role as the President of PANDSI I lead and manage a Board of 10 diverse members to comply with the regulations of the ACT Associations Incorporation Act 1991. My strong people management skills have ensured I have cultivated the Board into a highly functioning, collaborative and supportive team. I oversee the service delivery and performance, financial management, strategic planning, policies and procedures, staff and risk management. I chair Board meetings, propose policies and practices, monitor the performance of the Directors and Officers and undertake stakeholder engagement. I ensure PANDSI maintains positive and productive relationships with media, funders, donors and other stakeholders. The funder’s confidence in PANDSI, and ultimately my ability as President is evidenced by the ongoing funding provided to PANDSI through the ACT Government to deliver the service effectively and efficiently for the benefit of members of the ACT community. In addition to regular funding, an additional $100,000 in donation matching has been allocated over four years from the ACT Government to commence in the …show more content…
