1. If you found a one-of-a-kind prototype of a revolutionary new mobile phone lying on a public bench, what would you do with it? What would be the consequences of your chosen action?
I will leave the phone on the bench. This is because taking it without permission of the owner will be theft and I can be beaten up. However, leaving the phone has consequences. When I leave it, someone may take it and do reverse engineering. Reverse engineering is where one takes a microscopic picture of the layout of the chip to determine how it is laid out in the silicon. The person then tries to work towards the transistor and the system levels. This practice may result in designing of the system (Wallberg, 2015).

For instance, land cannot be used for growing plants that produce hard drugs.
b) For conservation. If the government does not control the use of property, it can be misused and get depleted. Take an example of trees, if the government does not conserve forests, deforestation can lead to change in climatic conditions.
c) For uniformity purposes. City councils do zoning of the cities and determine the kinds of activities to take place per zone. This is important for urban planning.
d) To avoid misuse and protection of life. Considering River Nile, you find that it flows across various countries like Uganda and Egypt. If Uganda does not have regulation over the use of River Nile, Egypt will not find good use of the water.
Another example is the use of rifles. If not monitored properly, they can be misused and threaten human life.
I believe laws work so well in maintaining standard uses of property because of the fines that are associated with the illegal use of the property. Without fines, injunctions and restrictions, misuse of the property is likely to ensue.
We can have boundaries on what businesses could do
