Nuclear Power Nowadays, nuclear power is one of the hottest topics that people are talking about. How do the nuclear weapons damage to modern urban areas? Countries are discussing about it in different meetings again and again, and they even have many different arguments. Most people consider nuclear power as a symbol of destruction. However, each coin has two sides. Nuclear power also does benefits to people; in other words, the threat of nuclear weapons also maintains world peace. Actually, the benefits of nuclear technology far overweigh the disadvantages in people’s lives. First of all, a nuclear weapon is an explosive device that derives its destructive force from nuclear reactions, either fission or a combination of fission and fusion (wikipedia). It has huge power which can make a strong destruction, but it will also provide useful energy which is cheap and clean if people use it in a right way. In the past years, people use fossil fuels for a long time, and these kinds of energies help people solving many problems. However, they also cause some environment problems at the meanwhile. So, a new kind of energy comes out -------nuclear power. It is cheap and clean as no pollution be emerged and help decrease the produce of CO2. “There is world-wide concern over the prospect of Global Warming primarily caused by the emission of Carbon Dioxide gas (CO2) from the burning of fossil fuels(nuclearinfo.net, 2012).” therefore, Vattenfall company generate nuclear which may constitute World's best practice, emits less than one hundredth the CO2 of Fossil-Fuel based generation(nuclearinfo.net, 2012). Also, nuclear batteries are one of useful application of nuclear power.
NUCLEAR POWER: BENEFITS OVERWEIGH THE DISADVANTAGES

“Our society is placing ever-higher demands for power from all kinds of devices,” says Philippe Fauchet, professor of electrical and computer engineering at the University of Rochester and co-author of the research. “For 50 years, people have been investigating converting simple nuclear decay into usable energy, but the yields were always too low. We’ve found a way to make the interaction much more efficient, and we hope these findings will lead to a new kind of battery that can pump out energy for years (science daily, 2005).” This kind of application can use it in the cars, airplanes, boats, and even the little machines. It can keep working for a longer time and more powerful than the one we used to use. Following the development of food safety in our lives, nuclear technology may have a growing impact on the food we eat and the water we drink. Nuclear radiations destroy micro-organisms and germs and as a result the food will be more healthier and preserve for longer. The radiation is of low intensity. Because of the low intensity the food treated is not considered as
