The Nuremberg Laws were a set of laws designed by the German Government to separate what was believed to be the “perfect” Aryan race from the Jewish. These laws took away the basic human rights of Jews and defined them. A person was defined as a Jew if they had at least 3 blood grandparents that are Jewish, married a Jew, the child of a Jewish parent, and a part of a Jewish community. Not only did these laws define people it also took away their right to vote and hold political positions. If a person held a political position they were forced to retire by the end of 1935. In fact, the Nuremberg laws took away a Jewish’s persons right to marry a non-Jewish person. Although, many would like to believe that America would do nothing like this,
