Argumentative Essay Outline “We'll have a big vegetable patch and a rabbit hutch and chickens. And when it rains in the winter, we'll just say the hell with goin' to work, and we'll build up a fire in the stove and set around it an' listen to the rain comin' down on the roof.” This simple dream enlightens hope to George and Lennie’s life. Especially Lennie, all he thinks about until the end is tending the rabbit. Once for a time they are almost going to achieve it. However several characters complicate the dream and finally cause the tragedy. Nonetheless, their effect might have different reasons which are not really right or wrong. Therefore, in regards to the issue of complication, the problem is caused by Curley and Curley’s wife.
