The Oklahoma Land Rush of 1889 is one of the most pivotal events in American History. From, a large amount of land settled in only one day, to a victimized community; forcibly removed out of a land that was once theirs. This great land rush had Americans darting towards newfound soil, while an enraged, disheartened Native American society withdrew from their inherited land with nothing.
