The History of Oregon is a wondrous thing as it is the past of the people who traveled and settled throughout the lands of Oregon. Native americans and settlers made oregon the land that it is today. Early native american tribes hunted in the forests and along the coasts of Oregon with spears and hooks made of bone. Many tribes traded with each other for important resources, and many of the tribes had religious beliefs. Some examples of the tribes that lived in Oregon are the Chinook and the Nez Perce.
