Overcoming Barriers In Education In The United States

Throughout our education we can all have barriers and we always try our best to overcome them or at least try to. Some of those educational barriers could be failing classes and many more. Mine was different though, I as the first generation to be born in the United States did not learn English as my first language. Starting kindergarten knowing some English was really tough for me. I always tried my best to be at the same level as the other kids , but it was always difficult for me to achieve that. Specially because no one at home spoke English and school was the only time I learned it. My mom put me in preschool so I could be prepared and know some English before kindergarten and that helped out a little but was not enough. One of
