Happy Children in a world of unknown pedophiles. They’re around us they are hiding and we don’t know them. “Pedophilia” (pedophiles) sexual attraction from a adult toward children of either sex. A conduct in which a minor is used without his consent as a sexual object. “Phedophile,” has become a worldwide problem it is present in all cultures and societies. A complex phenomenon with a combination of individuals family and social factors. They suffer from a personality disorder, mental disorder. A mental illness that shows sexual interest in children who have not yet arrived to puberty. Most of the parent don’t have those types of conversations with their children because they think there is no need. they think that their children will never be abused. Others are afraid to talk about the topic, and others consider it inappropriate. However, it is very important that parents, school, and even community’s need to be aware of this issue. It is very important to educated our children in how to react in case of abuse or in danger of being a victim. Consider the experiences of Sarah Forsyth and Ian McFadden, who share their terrible experience of being victims at a very young age by pedophiles. Sarah Forsyth, the survivor who was victimized multiple times by her father at the age of three. She was removed from home and put in a home who supposedly were in charge of her but she was being sexualy abused. Ian McFadyen, attended a Caldicott prep school where he came to the attention of a group of predatory teachers. Both victims with no law that could protect them by the power of justice. Wow! It’s unbelievable the harmful exposure children were exposed to back in the days. The absence of laws and justice were open doors to pedophiles to fish for new victims. Consequently, childrens were not protected as today. there was no child protective services and juvenile court. Many children went without protection. A good story that relates to this documentary is “Mary Ellen McCormack”, a 10-year old who experienced ongoing physical abuse by her adoptive mother. As there were no laws to protect children from cruelty, the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals was approached to assist and took her case to the court. They stated; Mary Ellen was a “human animal” and therefore they had to protect her as they protected animals. This soon led to establish new laws that protected children.
