My decision to consider transferring came upon me when I received my Financial Aid package and realized that I did not have the help from the Education Opportunity Fund that I have previously had in the past. I am financially independent and if I were to stay at Ramapo even with working with Residence Life I would have to take out almost $7,000 in loans every semester for my remaining time here, which would be almost $30,000 in loans for me to pay off when I graduate. I apologize that this is such short notice as I was not aware of EOF'S plan for Juniors and Seniors because they never directly answered my questions regarding funding.

I was not planning on transferring to another school so quickly until I realized after this semester I would have over 90 credits in which it'll be harder for me to transfer to another college without losing a significant amount of credits. The school that I am applying to is also closer to my house, approximately 2 minutes, and will be easy for me to commute if I have to do so. Also, this college is within 10 minutes of all my doctors offices which I visit every week for health reasons.
