Personal Narrative: Moving To A Small Town Girl

I’ve lived the majority of my life on the outer edge of a town that, according to the 2013 Census, contains roughly 6,000 people. I currently live in a town comprised of an outstanding 1,200 people. So, the phrase “small town girl,” fits exceedingly well. A great part of my character, my personality, draws from the environment I grew up with; because of where I’ve grown up, I’ve become so curious for more, while also being so frightened to leave. My mother and I are very similar in personality: both vagrant and both ensnared by circumstance.
