Personal Narrative: My Clinical Rotation

Since the beginning of the semester I was extremely excited to start my clinical rotation. The JAR became a second home for me because it was always a place I could go to de-stress each day. Most of the athletes were a pleasure to work with and I enjoyed talking with them throughout the day. I learned a lot from my preceptor and upperclassman throughout the semester as well. I believe that I grew as an athletic training student from being able to work hands on during my clinical time.
One disappointment I had was always felting like if I made a mistake I would be frowned upon or judged, but I believe confidence will grow in time. I also wish the girls had more home games this semester because I really enjoyed helping out and experiencing
