Hero I chose my mom as my hero because I think she is very inspiring. My family is originally from Kenya, they originate in the Kisii tribe. My mom did not have much growing up, my grandparents were both farmers, they mainly grew vegetables.They owned couple chickens, cows, and goats. My mom had 10 siblings growing up, so providing for the family was everyone's job.
Although poor my grandparents were firm believers in education and faith. This eventually lead my mom to a high school christian boarding school Nygusu, Kenya. Through hard work and determination my mom had eventually found her way to America. Just even thinking of my mom’s journey to America, is one of the reasons why I think my my mom is my hero.
I also call my mom my hero
