“Quiet! Quiet down class!” Mr. Driscoll shouted at his loud last hour eighth grade language arts class. All his students were happy as if was Christmas and they were opening presents. they were actually opening up a new chapter in life. It was the last day of school, their last day in middle school and as eighth graders.
They finally quieted down. “Well kids, or should I say young adults?” Mr. Driscoll said, laughing. The class joined him in a choir of laughter. Except for Jonah. Mr. Driscoll had only seen him smile when he was with his friend Andrew or Anna. Other than that he hadn’t.
