Many people around this area have lost their jobs and more are becoming homeless by the day. Civilians believe that since they are homeless now they should leave the area even though it's the same people they have been living around the whole time they have lived there. I think its awful that people think that just because they are homeless and have no where else to stay they look trashy. Everyone goes through a hard patch in their life. Some being worse situations than others. If someone gets laid off, what more can they do? It makes me feel awful knowing that people are out there struggling, living on the street with not very many options. I have stayed at the same school my whole life and I take pride in saying that because many people can't. I've always wished I moved around more as a kid but the more I think about it; the less friends I would have. Staying in the same house and meeting all the different people moving around me, i've made some great friends and met some amazing people. A lot of schools have liaison groups. A liaison group is a group of people or orginization that build close and tight relationships with students or other orginization. The liaison groups in the elementary schools around town are amazing and work with so many kids and provide things that they don't have. Being homeless can't be an excuse for kids in school.
