Did you know that the dog breed of pit bulls has bit the most people in the US out of all of the dog breeds? Pit bulls have always been seen as large, vicious animals. Many states in the US are voting whether or not pit bulls should be banned as pets. These dogs have had too many reports of biting to even be thought of as pets. Pit bulls should be banned as pets for many reasons. One reason that pit bulls should be banned as pets is because they have an instinct to bite down and hold on. When pit bulls bite they have a tendency to not let go. I believe that when most people are bit by anything, their first reaction would be to pull away. Some people might say that it is not the dog’s fault that it harmed another, it’s just the way that they were trained. This might be true, but it is also in the pit bull’s DNA to be aggressive.
