I think the story “The allegory of cave” is very interesting to discuss. The allegory was written by Plato who is considered the founder of Western philosophy and science which adviced people to find the nature of reality. I agree with Plato’s belief that people should free themselves to find truth and knowledge. To understand clearly, we must analyze what it means and compare it to modern life.

I totally agree with the idea:” The facts aren't necessarily always true on the internet. Social media is an easy way for people …rarely do people challenge the authenticity from what they see on the internet” – Ellie Tran from our class discussion. Similarity children, we should ask ourselves the questions which are the reality of situation and step by steps through our knowledge, belief we will obtain the true knowledge. Moreover, if I didn’t find the truth, I would lose one of my best friends who share the same thought and encourage me when the time gets tough.
In conclusion, like the prison in the cave, we must break the chains and find the freedom for ourselves in the sunlight outside. Other prisoners, who are afraid to find the truth, the change for their life they will never see the light of the truth.
