Poverty All Over the World
One of the global problems that I decided to talk about is Poverty. Poverty is and will always be a global problem in the United States and around the world. More than 80% of the worlds population lives in countries where income differentials are widening. There is an increasing gap between the low and high income families. The poorest 40% of the world’s population accounts for 5% of global income. The richest 20% accounts for three-quarters of world income. According to UNICEF, 22,000 children die each day due to poverty which is why there are many organizations out there trying to prevent and help who is in poverty today.
