Power Corrupted In Shakespeare's 'Macbeth'

Power can be a great corrupter, and those who are promised power can fall to corrupt ways. In the play The Tragedy of Macbeth by Shakespeare we see a good example of this. We see Macbeth promised power by witches called the weird sisters and a murder spree peruses so Macbeth can achieve, and keep power. For this I believe that the weird sisters held the most influence out of all the characters. The weird sisters had the most Influence because they told Macbeth several prophesies that when the first one came true he could not wait for the rest and turned to corruption.
